Good Reads started as a quaint little book section inside one of our favourite bakeries: Lagom - and has expanded to a brand new location. The new book shop features a really great selection of English books, with a small children’s section. Prices range between 80,000 and 425,000 VND per book. There are both new, and second hand books available.

Avocado Bookstore is a used book shop, tucked away adjacent to old town. Better for adult books, there is a small selection of used and second-hand books in town.

At Cozy Corner you’ll find delicious sandwiches - and a book swap corner that’s usually chock full of novels from tourists that leave behind novels and beach reads. This one is better for adults/teens/middle grade readers - we don’t often find picture books to swap. You can either swap a book you brought with you - free of charge - or purchase one of the books for 100,000 VND. This one is worth a stop next time you make your way down to the popular family hang out at Phuong’s Beach Restaurant.
